Post Automatically Only G/L Accounts

Hello,

Please help me with these questions...

1. If we have the "post automatically only" setting in G/L master record and postings are done to the account ---> Can we remove the setting and make it a manual post account.

2. If we have a manual post account with postings in SAP --> Can we make it s post automatically only account by activating the "post automatically only" setting under the control tab on G/L master record

Hi

In both the cases, the system would let you change the settings with a warning message (this can be changed to error of information using message control )

However ,

If the account which is being posted automatically is configured in some account assignment for SD/MM/

you may get an error while making a posting from these interfaces.

Yes possible, just make sure to bring it back to it's original set up because some accounts that are managed as "post auto" are integrated GL accounts to SD (VKOA) and MM (OBYC)
