Hello everybody,

i have been trying to upload the patch SAPKB70019, it generate the error

The following details help you to analyze the problem:

- Error in phase: IMPORT_PROPER

- Reason for error: TP_STEP_FAILURE

- Return code: 0012

- Error message: OCS Package ALL, tp step "6", return code 0012

After the error generate, i again try to upload the same, now it is continue executing in MAIN IMPORT from last 2 Hr.

so please suggest me How to solve the same.

I have check all the Logs but it not seem to error message.

Hi ,

Please run update statistics with BRtools & after that your issue will be resolved.

you have to stop the import & then after running update statistics start the Support packs again.

I forget to tell that Database is SQL server 2005.

Do check if the files in <DIR_TRANS>/tmp are getting updated.

If they are then it is still running.

I have check the said files but they are not updated and process is continuously running (In MAIN IMPORT). Also i have check the File name SLOG0938 then last some line as follows

so please tell me what is this? what is meaning of the lines?

Looks like there is a loc file.

Whenever a transport is already running then in the tmp directory it creates a .loc file.

Until the transport is complete this file is not deleted.

You are sure nothing else is running then delete the loc file from the tmp directory

Their is no .loc file in tmp directory.

when i stop the upload process then at the bottom line error message in SLOG0938 is

Missed it previously

Reason tis waiting is beacause it thinks its still running

But the Log shows the file name SAPKKB70019.RIS then can i rename file SAPKKB70019.RIS to SAPKKB70019.19

I want know only that what is "ERROR: RFC function TRINT_PROGRESS_INDICATOR returned 18"

Now i have just restart the SPAM, the process is only shown in running status but not goes to next step

nothing happen from last 1 Hr.

Are you sure there is no file being updated in tmp directory ??

Make sure to clean up everything before you restart.

In past I already delete the SAPKKD70036. in directory and kill the TP process in Task manager (like it said in note 12746).

And after that I restarted the importing of SPAM... and still show me the same error it stuck in that process it show in status bar the information "MAIN IMPORT"

(By the way when I stopped the transaction I saw that this was in the phase IMPORT_PROPER !!)

What I have to do for solve this error and finish this simple import... spam importe!... I don´t get it!!

Hi,

Please check the sufficent filesystem space. like /usr/sap/trans ...../tmp

and additionally check for tablespace might be full or 100%.
