Contra Item in Financial Statement Version

How & where do we define the contra item in Financial Statement Version.

Hi,

you have to do some settings in OB58 t.code for Financial Statement Version to your chart of accounts.

Hi,

In OB58, you have to give Fin.Stt.Version what ever you give while create chart of Account in OBY7.

Then maintain language, put tick mark in Item key auto, then give your chart of account.

If you copying standard chart of account in OBY7. that structure Fin.Stt.Structure will come automatically and you should delete the copying chart of account and have to maintain your chart of account and it's GL accounts.

For that better you have open Standard Fin.Stt.Version in another one screen and do copying and paste it for your chart of account.

Check it and try and let me know.

Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation but it doesn't help me much.

I am looking at the contra Item, how to add contra items to the tree. If you go to Utilites you can find four sub trees like

Item

Special item

Contra item

Account interval

I am looking at how to add the contra items.
