Link between Tax Codes and Tax Groups

All SAP Gurus,

Is there any link between Tax Codes and Tax Groups?

There are several Tax Codes and there are several Tax Groups.

There are multiple combination of the Tax Codes and Tax Groups.

It will be more clear with an example:

For example, there are tax codes: T1, T2, T3 .......... and Tax Groups G1, G2, G3 .............

In Tax Group G1 there are Tax Codes T1 and T2

In Tax Group G2 there are Tax Codes T1 and T3

In Tax Group G3 there are Tax Codes T1, T2 and T3

So there are multiple permutation and combination exist between Tax Codes and Tax Groups.

What we require is:

1. Through configuration how we can establish a link between Tax Codes and Tax Groups?

2. Is there any standard SAP report available, which can give us the amount Receivable or payable on the basis of Tax Groups?

Hi,

Where is the Tax Group ? Could you pl. let us know the Path to find the Tax group ?

As I have never heard abt it.
