how many lines we can print in alv list display

Hi,

Iam developed one report which is haveing 70 columns.

while displaying in alv list all columns are not comeing in single line they are going to two line.

Could you please suggest me what will be the problem and how to achive it.

Hi

we can generate 'n' number of coloumns through the report. but we can view all the coloumns through ALV but not in the normal display. It would be restricted to 255 char in normal display. we can download into UNIX server from that u can download to front system using the following FM to view all the coloumns of report

ARCHIVFILE_CLIENT_TO_SERVER,

ARCHIVFILE_SERVER_TO_CLIENT.

You can have 255 columns in ALV.

Take a example of MARA table and see the contentsin SE11/SE16 then change the settings ->Userparameter choose the output in ALV Grid display and set the width of output list max as 1023 and then you can see the output display more than 70 columns.
