Add some quantity to stock for one part number.

Hello

Can somebody tell how to add 10 units to one existing stock of 2 units in WM module.

Hi,

You cannot add in WM without adding in IM. So, you have to do a transaction (of adding 10 units) with 101/ 501/ 561 in IM and then create & confirm TO. Then only u can add to WM.

u can do this also without IM first, like writing up the inventory in the WM using LT01/ bring inventory from 999 ST. However this will need to be cleared in the IM using LI21 otherwise it will be left hanging and the valuation will be a mismatch.

Are these two quantities in WM? Do you have one quant of 10 and one quant of 2? .. if so have a look at using transaction LT01 .. to place one on top of the other.
