Different deparment authorizations for CHaRM in Solman

Hi,

I think in the Change Management (CRM_DNO_MONITOR) in Solman (ST-400 Lvl 20) there is no possibility to seperate the Change Requests or the Support Messages for different department employees.

The goal is, that the employees from finacial department, for example, could not see the Change Requests or Support Messages from Logictic Execusion department and reverse. Also the Documents, which you can add at "Transaction Data" -> "Documents" in the support message should be not visisble to departments who have no authority.

We have approx. 10 departments to seperate from each other.

However, what suggustions do you have to solve this problem?

    Hi,

    If system is properly configured and BP is properly created it is easy to achieve.

    for. e.g one way is to create Org BP and here assign team members

    so when they login they have a variant of crm_dno_monitor and they click that...which in turn hav the input as My Team select on the crm_dno_monitor so they can see all the message only to the team ,they actually belong to

    Pls ask ur solman consultant to do this configuration it is achieve.

    Hello Carsten,

    I have 2 suggestions:

    1. You can analyze the BADI CRM_ORDER_AUTH_CHECK. I'm not sure, but according to note 920734 - "Corporate message: Authorization check" it works in CRM_DNO_MONITOR too.

    2. You can create separate transactions for CRM_DNO_MONITOR with protected variants and without selection screens and give users authorities only for using these transactions, and not CRM_DNO_MONITOR itself.

    About 2-nd question - "Transaction Data" -> "Documents" - maybe BADI CRM_DOC_AUTHORITY could help?
