Problem defining external people as partner type (tx: VOP2)

Hi, everybody!

We have a problem when we try to define a partner type using transaction VOP2.

First we created a new partner function and then tried to assign that partner function (V_TPAR_QM-PARVW) to a partner type (V_TPAR_QM-NRART), but none of the possibilities fulfills our needs.

The question is we want to define external people (that is a type object H, which is different from personnel number) like partners, but none of the possibilities included in the match-code (work center, contact persons, personnel number, ...) is valid.

Is there any way of doing that?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

J Madariaga

We keep trying to solve this problem, and there are some news.

We finally got the value H in "partner type" (tx: VOP2).

We inserted that value in table TVPA (something positively not recommended to be done) and then we assigned it to the partner function ZZ.

After doing that, we tried to create a partner in a PM notificaction (using tx VOP2) with this partner function ZZ, but it can't be done because we get the message error IX-020: "Paging not possible for partner function ZZ".

    Could anyone help me?

    Best regards,
