    Dear Yadav,

Check this content from SAP help,

Material requirements planning is usually carried out at plant level. This means that the system adds together stocks from all of

the individual storage locations, with the exception of individual customer stock, to determine total plant stock. It may be

necessary to exclude storage location stock from the plant's MRP run, or you may want to plan certain stocks separately.

Excluding a Storage Location from MRP

    Use

You can exclude a storage location from MRP at plant level.

    Prerequisites

You have set the MRP indicator for Storage location stock excluded from MRP for the storage location (Storage location MRP

screen area) in the material master (MRP 4 view).

    Features

The available warehouse stock at plant level is reduced by the stock in the storage locations that are to be planned separately.

You can, however, still make withdrawals from this stock.

No net requirements calculation is carried out for these storage locations to be planned separately.

You can execlude the storage location from MRP by setting in the material master MRP4 view through T Code MM02,after

selecting MRP4 view ,mention the plant and particular storage location and press Enter or else in T Code MMSC.

    Hi Yadav,

System will consider all storage location while running MRP.only if you want to exclude certain material under some storage location, you have to mark that material in MRP4 view there is field for excluding from MRP.

If you go to mm02 mrp4 view with organization levels plant and storage location, there is tab as storage location MRP,wher the field SLOC MRP indicator where if you put 1 ,that storage location is excluded from MRP

    hope it helps

In the IMG go to Production > Material Requirements Planning > Planning > Define Storage Location MRP per Plant (transaction OMIR) where you can exclude a storage location from the MRP evaluation.

    Hi Yadav,

Stock in all the storage locations will be taken into consideration while running MRP, if you want to exclude the stock of a particular storage location from MRP you can set the same through configuration

SPRO - Production - Material Requirements Planning - Planning - Define Storage Location MRP per Plant

In this you can mention MRP Indicator 1- Storage location stock excluded from MRP against a storage location (If storage location stock is excluded from MRP at plant level, no receipts for this storage location will be created in the planning run stock available in particular storage location will be excluded during MRP)

If you set the indicator in configuration it will be applicable for stocks of all the materials available in particular storage location.

If you want to exclude the stock from MRP for a particular material in a particular storage location you can achieve the same thorough material master MRP4 view, mention the storage location MRP indicator as 1.

Hope this would clarify your query.

    Shankarling.
