Hi ALL,
I am looking for all the Bar coding process including all the config steps plus where it is used and is it WM managed or IM managed.
Also how can we determine a material is WM managed and IM managed?
Thanks
Kenny
Hi,
For Bar coding process and config steps please refer the following link,
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/c9/c93237d5c2cf12e10000009b38f839/content.htm
Check the material master for Warehouse managed or not managed.
Check the above link for Bar code support.

Hi Kenny,
The questions that you ask are very broad and without knowing the detail of what you are trying to achieve it is difficult to answer specifically. However the use of bar-codes and printing printing should be fairly straight forward in either WM or IM.
Can you inform us of how you intend to use the barcode? will you be using Mobile (hand held) scanners or tethered keyboard replacement scanners, more importantlyvan you describe what business proesses and transactions/entry fields will the barcode be used as an entry aid in?
for example will you be using the LMOB mobile transactions with WM such as putaway confirmation.
The aswers to these questions will help the forum answer your questions.
