Hi Everyone,

Do I need to populate all the data like control segments, data segments or PO related details will be sent thru IDOC if we pass a particular details of that PO?

Pls give me some tips to proceed...

Hi,

You can use the IDOC Type: ORDER05 for this PO reqt. For PO the 850 EDI is used.

You need not fill in all the data for the segments, but only the mandatory fields & segments and along with some header details like Pur Org, vendor No, plant etc.

Based on some of the mandatory parameteres you fill in, it will be validated with the config already done in the SAP system.

Pls got to WEDI (Adminstrator Menu)- type it as a T-Code and you can go thru the details.

Apart from this the RFC destination needs to be set up in SM59 and the logical system settings in WE20 along with the port settings in WE21 has to be carried out.

Hope this helps.
