This is the transaction to maintain the future price in the material master. In costing variant for product costing or related purpose for Raw material you may want to take some average price for standard cost estimate , which could be estimated price .
And surely you dont want your existing inventory valuation should get afected.. so in this case , you want to put some price which is not the existing price for costing .
So to maintaini the future price for Raw material per valuation type , this transactiob get used.
