HIe,
Is it possible?
wenever any new action is run after joining action then it shd not COPY that action means it should not create multiple records rather it should make the record in 1 screen only. As i always want only 1 record in 0000 action.....
Thks
See while hiring 1 record is created
if you any transfer 1 record is created
if you do any compensation change 1 record is created

no m not using Z report and using PT90 only (List View). and in 2001 dere cant be 2 records of same date and same absence type. I think its because wen v run any other action after joining then it creates 2 records in action 0000.So i think its because of that.

Firstly, there can be two records for the same day with same Absence type -
eg: two haldday leaves of CL. (08:00-1200 and 12:00-4)
this wd show two records in Absence Reports.
Also, it is time constrain class will define whter to accept two records or not. (we can play with it)
Secondly, There may be two records in ACtions but the status for the day is only ! so, Absence report also displays only one record for the day.
Can u tel us, which report you are checkin ?

records will be created but the data will remain same
say when you hire an employee ceratin records will be created
1.Actions
2.Personal Data
Later u will promote that employee at that time the data in infotype 002 shd be in COP mode as we are copying the data which i alreadt exists
and one more thing 0000 , 0001 , 0002 are universal infotypes and there are havieng TC 01 where no gaps and overlappong is not allowed checl T582A onc e

Hello,
Have you think of using additional action for the same IT0302? see documentation below for this functionality
"You can store several actions for an employee on one day. But only one is stored in infotype 0, the rest is stored in infotype 0302. If you set up the actions WITH priorities, obviously the action with the highest priority is stored in IT 0. If you do NOT specify prioritie priorities then the sequence of the table T529A is followed."
In customizing you determine which personnel action per day is stored in I0000 if you perform an additional action for the employee on the same day. As a rule, use Actions infotype for personnel actions Please see the documentation for infotype 0302 which indicates:
"You can store several actions for an employee on one day. But only one is stored in infotype 0, the rest is stored in infotype 0302.If you set up the actions WITH priorities, obviously the action with the highest priority is stored in IT 0. In customizing you determine which personnel action per day is stored in I0000 if you perform an additional action for the employee on the same day. As a rule, use Actions infotype for personnel actions that change the employees status (such as Leaving) which causes the employee's status to be changed from 'active' to 'left company'.
In the Additional Actions infotype, only action types and reasons are stored. This infotype does not log the data records created when performing a personnel action.
**You cannot perform two separate status-altering personnel actions for an employee on the same day, such as Leaving and Early Retirement. In this case, the already existing personnel action will be overwritten. Infotype 0000 still continues to have Time Constraint 1.
View V_529A_B contains only those personnel actions which are defined as non-status-altering in table T529A (that means fields T529A-STAT2 and T529A-STAT3 are set to blank).
Cheers
Sarah
