Risk anlysis in CUP

Hi Everyone,

I have an issue with risk anlysis in CUP , I have the setting in the risk analysis pane for "Risk analysis on Reuest submission" as "yes" , but however while submitting the request it let me submit with out forcing me to perform the risk analysis

If the parameter being set to "yes" allows you to perform risk anlysis on submission ,it even allowed me to perform risks nalysis when it was set to "NO"

So What I would expect is that if it is set to YES then it shodn't allow me to submit with out performing Risk analysis right ?

I have have even rebooted the server after i had the above config set to as YES

we are on GRC 5.3 SP 8

Let me know if anyone has same issse or I am missing something here ?

Hi Kevin,

If you have the 'Risk Analysis on Request Submission' set to YES, risk analysis will be done automatically when you submit the request and the risks will be shown to the approver. It will not force you to do the risk analysis. Please let me know if you need any more details.

Hey Kev,

if you want to force someone to run risk analysis it's only possible for stages. There you have to set parameter "Risk Analysis Mandatory" to YES.

As requestor it is actually not possible to see risk-analysis. I requested this issue and SAP said "works-as-designed" but this issue will be implemented but they "cannot commit to a specific release or timeframe".
