0CALWEEK

Our company has been using 0CALWEEK for our Fiscal week for several years. This year we just realized we are going to have a problem at the end of our 2010 fiscal year. Up until know, our fiscal year has had 52 weeks, so always in synd with the calendar year. In 2010, our fical year is going to have 53 weeks, and the calendar year is just going to have 52 weeks.

The problem we have is that when we look at 0CALWEEK in the /BI0/MCALWEEK table, it only shows 52 weeks. When we look in table T009B, we do see the 53 weeks, but 0CALWEEK looks to be smart enough to know there are only 52 weeks in a calendar year.

Now when I test a data load using week 53 in the data, it fails, telling me the "201053 is not plausible". We have several cubes that use 0CALWEEK for the fiscal week, so to change this is going to be a big deal for us.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how we could make 0CALWEEK accept 53 weeks? Thanks, Keith J

    Hi,

In BI generally its not good to maintain these standard tables . If needed you can maintain them thro SPRO setting in BI alone.

Always update transfer global settings dont rebuild it as the entry you made will get removed.

    Hope this helps for you.

    Hi Keith:

This problem could be caused by a program error, for a solution please refer to SAP Note 1158498 - Characteristic value not plausible (BRAIN 027).

    Regards.

We were already on the support pack that had this note. Looks like if the fiscal year and calendar year are not in sync, you will have problems with 0CALWEEK
