Cannot translate Sapscript

Hi

I have a Sapscript which i have to translate into another language.I have copied it from the original language English into my language.Now i tried to go to SE63-Translation-> Abap Objects ->Other Lomg Texts -> FS Forms and Styles -> Forms

Here i am trying to translate it from english into my language bit i get the message "Object not found"

Why doesn't it find the sapscript? If i go in SE71 and try to edit the sapscript into my language it works.

Hi,

The solution is that when you transport the translations using SE63, you should also include the actual object(s) involved in the same transport.

For example, R3TR REPS <Program Name> or R3TR FORM <Form Name>. To include the object in the transport, you can actually change nominally and undo, or edit the object list of transport (with a little care).

Or you can try this

If you want to translate any program, first run the settings in your pc for the chinese language. In regional language settings of your control panel.

Then go to transaction se63 and there depending on your requirement go and change the translation.

in case you are not able to see the transport request then again go to the translation change the translation once again (any one field) amd then save

go to admmistration -->transport recording -->all requests.

you will be able to see the request under your user id.

Even then if you are not able to see the request.

You go and create a Transport request by changing any of the text in your program and then save,

The request for text change carries the translation changes also in case of reports.

So if i copy the Sapscript into my language i just have to open it in SE71 and manually translate all the text,right?

Translation of a Sap Script and Smartform is difficult, Smartforms u can use SE63 and do the translation, whereas in SAP Script u need to copy it and open the form in the prefered language and delete the SourceText and replace with its correspoinding Destination language text and activate and call the Form using OPEN_FORM ( language Parameters = EN DE etc)

Check also the Fonts for example when u translate in Japanesse u need to use JPMINCO as the Font and so on .. check whether u have thedesired font also...

seba,

when u r copying the script from client-000 dont gv any selections like copy into particular language and stuff..when copying is done open the script in the language u want and proceed further...

when you copy the sapscript (from 000 to your client, I presume), don't change the language! Then you'll be able to translate from English to your language.
