Automatic Settlement Rule Generation for WBS

Hi,

Following is the requirement;

1. We need to automatically generate Settlement rules to the project WBS without running T-code CJB2.

2. We should not do it through CJ20N Edit screen also.

3. The settlement rule has to be generated upon project creation or saving or setting the status to REL.

I am able to do it for Network activities. How can it be done for WBS?

Please advice.

Thanks,

Kabir

create a BDC prog to automatically update the WBS with settlement rule, This BDC can be used while saving or REL of WBS. Refer standard BAdIs available during WBS save or REL to update WBS with settlement rule.

    Hi

For AUC settlement in WBS system will automatically create the settlement rule with AUC number.

But for the FXA settlement you need to create the settlement rule manually with FXA number, this will not make as automated process in STD SAP.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Settlement rules for WBS elements can be generated automatically.

During generation, the settlement rule, the settlement profile and the analysis key are set in the master data of the project. Need to define the strategy in Customizing.

Maintain strategies for automatic generation of settlement rules. Then assign these strategies to project profiles. You can also reach these Customizing settings via area menu KAPH (menu option: "Customizing").

Another possibility is to call Transactions:

0SRH1 (Maintain Strategies) and 0SRH2 (Assign strategy to project profile directly).

If you maintained these settings, you can call the automatic generation of WBS settlement rules via menu path "Settlement rule -> Generate". Another possibility is to call Transaction CJB1 directly.

    Thanks & Regards,

Settlement rule can not be automated except in case of AuC for the simple reason that the receiver is not known and has to be manually created or assigned. The idea to use a BADI or BDC would also need you to specify a receiver manually. It would then not remain automatic anyways. If you are looking at mass creation then the BDC would help
