Add a step to a support message

Hi

We are using the support message as tool to manage our development team.

That means that when someone want to developed anything he have to create a support message.

Our biggest problem is where to put the design paper.

1. Attach it to the support message - ( but that create a new document that is not is the project document's)

2. Attach it to the project document - (the suuport message doesn't conntain the document)

we want to use the second option but it is a problem because there is no direct connection from the support message and the document.

I saw that there is a way that we can add a step into the support message at the document tab.

How can i do that ?

    Hi Lior,

    you are right, you could do this in the documents tab. You need some customizing first. You can find it with EHP1 in SPRO: SAP Solution Manager -> Scenario Specific Settings -> Change Request Management -> Extended Configuration -> Assignment of Business Objects

    Before EHP1, I don't believe this can be found in SPRO.

    Please go through all these IMG activities, after setting this up, you should be able to link project documents from a maintenance project or implementation project, or even a solution to your support message.

    Maybe you have to do some additional customizing, because I am not quite sure, if the BC-Set also contains customizing for SLFN/SLF1. I think it is only for SDHF, SDMJ, SDCR. If you would like to use, you can add similar entries for your transaction type.
