What status is the IDoc in? Are you talking about IDocs in some kind of 'Error'-Status? If so these can be Re-Triggered via BatchJobs. Get some info on that via your SAP Contacts at your Company / Client, as the only thing to do is create a few BatchJobs ...

Some resources on this : link ...

If not, you should probably Create New IDocs rather than Re-trigger an IDoc that - atleast in the SAP-System - already has a Final Status (Processed Successfully) ...

If the IDoc is processed successfully i would create a copy of the IDoc - providing your scenario doesnt do something unique with the IDoc number.

  • Get the IDoc number of the IDoc you want to 'resend'.
  • Go to transaction WE19 and enter the IDoc number into the Existing IDoc field - making sure that radio button is selected. Execute/F8.
  • I assume this is outbound from your description so now press 'Standard Outbound Processing'.
  • Press the Tick, Press the tick. Footer of the GUI will show your IDoc number saying it has been saved to the database.
  • These might not process automatically in some configurations so go to BD87.
  • Enter your IDoc number and execute.
  • If it is green it has probably hit PI by now. If it is yellow, expand the node and highlight the IDoc type. Then press execute.

Done.
