MySQL driver installation guide

hii experts,

where i can find the driver installaion guide for MySQL. i got the guide from sdn "How install external drivers for JDBC and JMS"

But there i can installation guide MSSQL , Oracle.etc . but not MySQL installation guide..

Please guide me the links for the document.

thanks for your reply.

I have got this document.. but i dont find any instruction to install MySQL driver, in this we have detail about install MS SQL . Oracle. But not MySQL ..

Deploy in PI Server and mentione the file nmae in Provider XML file

Hii agusthuri,

Sorry, Again u mention the same installation guide.. is it enough?.. coz i dont about the installation of driver. my basis person asked me to send the installation guide. he only said that there is information about how to install the MS SQL, Oracle and IBM's one database but not MySQL when i send the document u referred me.

Can i send the same document ask him the change provider xml file.. will it work??

The PDF documents give information - How To Install and Configure External Drivers for JDBC & JMS Adapters, The Second link Talks about the driver Ffles installation, The 1 st link talk abt the driver file, The Basis team will be able to deploy the Driver file from the above PDF document, The MY SQL deployment is similar to other driver files like ORACLE .

Thanks for your constant help. but still i need your help.. i havent send the document u send and also said that installation is like installing the oracle database,, but still my basis person not satisfied i got reply from him like "I have this guide and I used it to deploy JDBC drivers for Oracle & MS SQL. I need to know what jar files need to be deployed for MySQL.

In the zipped file you provided there 11 jar files. So, I need to know what files to deploy. I need document from MySQL or SAP which clearly states what files to deploy. We will not experiment on this one."

anyways these are jar file in the zip file.. which are jar files should be deployed. please help me out here.
