MDG Hierarchy - file upload

Hi

Is delta load possible while loading MDG hierarchies through file upload?

I already have a hierarchy of 1 root node R with structure nodes S1 and S2. S1 already has business partners BP1 and BP2. BP1 as BP11 under it.

Now when I try to load BP12 under BP2. The sibling BP1 and BP11 are getting deleted.

I'm doing it in the "Overwrite or Add" mode.

Will the new records not load without disturbing the other BPs in the structure node S1?

Please let me know if anyone has managed to do this?

Hello Swarna

In BP, if you check the file upload method, there are various options like bank data / tax data. If you want to change specific data then use that option only. With this approach your data remains intact and only delta get updated.

Please mention the data you want to change...

Hello Swarna,

Use File download to extract the structure and then update the structure as required. Then use file upload.

I've followed this process only. Its not working 😞

Apparently delta updates to hierarchy can happen only through change request.
