XML Forms Labels missing

Hi Experts,

We are running a 7.0 SP18 Portal.

The problem faced is that the labels in news item editor (XML Forms) are not displayed at all when editing a news item with a non-administrative user.

1) In a folder the user has read/write permissions, select new > Forms > SAP Demo News

2) The editor appears, but all labels next the input fields are missing

When executing the same steps with an administrative user all labels are displayed.

Thanks for your help,

Ingo Taraske

    Hi Ingo,

You should check that your URL Generator settings are correct according to:

Make sure the short URLs are correctly implemented, especially the 'XML Forms CSS URL' parameter.

      Hi Lorcan,

Indeed, we have and need to have anonymous access enabled, your proposal would probably solve the issue, but we can't tell the user to make the replacements to the URL manually. Maybe a better method is to add a command to the context menu for folders, on click it opens the web folder directly. Do you know if such a command is already available or how can be configured?

      Thanks again for the help!

      further development:

Taking a look at standard commands this one is pretty close to the command that is needed as a workaround:

Where can I get the source for this command so I can use it as a template for a new command that gives back the working WebDAV (irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/ link?

An alternative would be to create a property for WebDAV being used in the explorer iview. There is one already, but of course it returns the URL in respect to the "Content Access Path" value (/irj/go/km/docs).
