Custom Fiori client reading client certificate from iOS/Android device and sending it to server

Hello All,

Our requirement is that custom fiori client app(iOS and Android) should be able to read

Client Certificate on both iOS and Android and send it to caller server(in our case Reverse Proxy). We also have SMP in landscape.

Certificate will be pushed to device by Intune(device management server).

After going through various questions on SCNs, I learnt about two approaches ,

1. Developing custom certificate provider interface that will retrieve the certificate from certificate provider and save it to device and further send this to server. This will be used along with Logon Plugin.

2. Adding AuthProxy plugin to custom fiori client app.

But Still we do not have full clarity on which one to opt. Can you please help in answering following,

1. Which approach should be used here? Where do we need to write the code in either approach?

2. If approach 1 is solution, does it mean MDM does not need to push any certificate because Custom certificate provider interface retrieves it?

Please help.
