CORE-TOOL: no connection from desktop.

Hi Team,

We want to acces our SAP convergent charging machine by the use of the BRIMtools on our own computers.

What ports/ settings must done?

When we make a remote connection to the server where Convergent charging is running and we start the CORE-tool. with server URL localhost and port 9100 we can login.

When we make a connection from our desktops with the IP number of the server and port 9100 we get: "An error occurred during communication with the server"
What could be a reason for that?

I have the same question.

I can see with the login/password that these are correct (I have tried wrong combinations) but providing correct credentials results in this error. Did you find a solution?

*UPDATE* we solved this issue by putting the remote host in the etc/hosts file of the computer from which you are trying to connect.

I am facing the same error when I am trying to access the CC Core serve using the port 9100.
