Sure, that's called a distributed installation.

Just check PAM and read the installation guide for a distributed system.

      Hi Juan,

I have to install SAP NetWeaver in similar environment. I have installed SCS: windows 32 machine

Next i am installing database instance on Linux CentOS 64 machine. currently it is asking for profile directory. as per installation guide i have export profile directory from windows and mount it on linux. Can you please explain the procedure for the same?

Whether i have to export it or create directories manually on linux machine.

      Thanks in advance,
