Substitution permissions on GP

Hello,

As per below SAP help, we can use the Substitution permissions functionality for GP processes.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/26/524042211ead04e10000000a1550b0/content.htm

I have tried using this and what i found is:

Using this procedure, you can grant the permissions to others to initiate the process. But once it is initiated and if somebody assigned to the perticular action, i was not able to grant the permissions to execute that perticular action.

For example:

Process1

|_ Block1

|_ Action 1

|_ Action 2

In above example, XYZ person can initiate the process1. but this person has granted the permission to ZYX to initiate and execute. So, ZYX can initiate this process.

Now, Action 2 is assinged to ABC person and ABC had set the substitution rule to grant the permissions to DEF person.

But DEF person do not get the task to work on action 2.

can anybody tell me above is the valid scenario and we can do it using Substitution permissions?

Thanks,

Bhavik
