2.Why is this message poping up when item is changed in sales order?

3.Why does the inco term get changed after i change the plant.

Please help me know this.

Thanks & regards.

Hello,

When the incoterms are changed in the sales order, pricing type H is used which you can check with note 24832

attached redetermines the following:

- Condition type KNTYP = "B" (Delivery costs)

- Condition type KNTYP = "F" (Freight conditions)

- Condition type KNTYP = "L" (Always new when copying)

So the freight redetermination should be caused by incoterm change.

However it is strange that the incoterm is changed when changing plant, because it is taken from customer master data of ship-to party.

Could you please check whether you are using any userexit which affects VBKD-INCO1 in MV45AFZZ?

I would suggest a quick way to find the reason, just enter debugger with /h before changing the plant, change the plant and

Press Enter, then set watch point to VBKD-INCO1 to check where is it to be changed.

Best regards,

Smile

Freight , Tax , Route Scheduling is Re-determined when ever you change the Plant as they are plant specific. We maintain the Condition Records according to the requirements & also in the Pricing Procedure.

3.Why does the inco term get changed after i change the plant

As you would have maintained Different Incoterms wrt Plant in the Customer master. So when you change the Plant ,it determines as per the Master Record.

Dear Friend,

1. Freight is the transport charged to customer.

this is based on Incoterms of customer, and weight of material as per standard SAP and business

(please check access sequence of condition type KF00.)

2.In a sales order two thinngs happen when u input the data.

a. when you type data in Sold to party, it will copy customer related data from CMR to sales order heaer

b. When you enter it will copy material data from MMR and check other conditions /validation to Item data

Once you change the item number in Sales order, it has to refresh/revive the ITEM DATA. thats why it is poiping a message.

And

Dear ankur,

please check..... why incoterms change when plant changed, is there any setting to create customer plant based.

Incoterms are Customer based

Customers are sales area based

material master data can be changed based on plant...because matl master has plant specific data.....

but how come incoterms of customer based on plant......

any logic?????

there must be some customisation for this point.

Dear Satya,

You can mention the Plant at Customer Master Record also.Just check the same at Sales Area Data > Shipping.

As per the SAP Logic,in the Sales Order ,Plant is determined as per the priority from Customer Master Record , Material Master Record & then Customer Material info Record.
