Customer specific Status

Can anyone explain me why and how can we use Customer specific staus in action [0000] infotype

Hi,

SAP provides three statuses for IT0000, Employment status, special payment status and customer specific status.

Employment and special payment statuses are used to set SAP standard stauses like active, inactive and retiree however if your clinet has a requirement where an employee has to be kept in a semi retirement status you can use customer specific status, populate T529U table with the required status and use it in your actions.

i have created customer specific employment similar to withdrawn status.

but will it be available for standard reports

my requirement is to create new employment status same as withdrawn , in standard which is not possible so i need to go for customer specific

please help

HI,

it can be maintained but we also need to check the Set up personal action types Step in SPRO.
