two sap instance on one aix machine

hi

we have a dev machine on aix host (oracle 10g)

ı want to install qa sap system on same machine as 2nd sap instance

ı need a guide about including this install steps

Hi,

To install two instances you have to choose different Instance Number & SID. Rest installation procedure will be same as normal installation.

While installing the second oracle instance on the same host you have to take some preliminary actions.

ok, for 02nd sap instance you will need 02nd database instance

search for the notes and there are many posts for this issue/concept on SDN too
