Workflow - old version getting executed

Hi,

I have created a workflow and have transported it to the Quality system. Versions of the workflow are maintained in the quality system and the latest version is active. All the other versions show as deleted. However when the workflow gets executed, it is still picking up the old version instead of the latest.

Plz help.

Hi Prasy,

Try refreshing the Organizational Environment using t-code SWU_OBUF in Quality system.

1. Execute txn SWUD

2. Enter the workflow template number and task type as WS and then execute Problem: Task not started

3. in the next screen Refresh Organizational Environment execute this.and then try to execute the workflow this time it will pick up the right version.

Hi,

IN SWDD tcode, under the menu workflow, you have an option called

Activation --> Generate and activate rutime version, by doing this new version will be created and after transporting,

you can see this version in Quality system.

Hello,

Check in SWDD if it says "Active, Saved".

If it does, then check the transport logs to see if there are any errors.

Hi,

Yes it is saved and active. In the version overview, it shows the latest version as active too.

Hi,

This should not happen normally. Tried to execute SWU_OBUF.

When ever you develop a new stuff in workflow and Activate, come back and call this transaction SWU_OBUF to clear the buffers.
