BPC Reporting

Hi,

We are migrating from SEM-BCS to BPC. Now Reporting is done from BEx for both Pre Consolidated Reports and Post Consolidated Reports. Once we implement BPC, Reporting should be done from BPC or BEx for Pre Consolidated Reports & Post consolidated Reports. Please throw some light.

Once you implement BPC, the reporting should be done from BPC. If you want to report BPC data through BEx, then you should use shared query engine to fetch the data.

I know its trivial, yet compelled to ask. What about the Pre-consolidated Data, It should be reported using BEx right ?

It depends upon where the non-consolidated data resides. If it resides in the regular BW (non-BPC) cubes then you can use BEx reporting. However if you are trying to report non-consolidated data from BPC application (/CPMB name space cubes) then you should use BPC reporting.
