Hi,

Not sure which item no. you're referring to, if its in the BOM, then its the line number in the BOM which you have positioned the component.

If its in SO, then it refers to the line in the SO in which the material is positioned.

Hope it clarifies.

Hi,

I would like to add further points to our friends suggestions like Tcode used :

Sale Order : VA01 / VA02 / VA03

Order Bom : CA61 / CA62 /CA63

Config setting to take Order BOM presidence over general BOM : OMIW

MRP run for Order BOM : MD50

Hope this will help you.

Hi,

A few inputs:

1. An order bom is created when you want a specific to be considered for a particular sales order item.

2. The BOM is created using CS61, where you need to specify the sales order number, item, the material & the usage.

3. In OMIW, click on plant & for your plant make a tick mark on Sales Order/WBS BOM. This will ensure that MRP gives precedence to the order BOM which you created.

4. The other setup remains the same as you would normally do for a BOM created via CS01.

Try the above & if you face any issues, revert back.

Regards,

Vivek
