BO DI 12.2 - How do i configure a MS Access database file as a datastore?

Hi Everyone, Im relative new with Business Object DataIntegrator v12.2 or 3.2, Im trying to figure out how to configure a MS Access database file as a Datastore because I tried with Database and Flat File but with no success.

I think its possible to use the database type (ODBC) but i prefer to maker the connection retrieving the file from a specific directory instead of using the ODBC method.

Thanks in advance, Pablo.

I can't think about any other option that using an ODBC driver.

You might link the Access Database into a e.g. SQL server database, so from DS it looks like reading a SQL Server table. But then you have the same issue with the ODBC driver, just in SQL Server instead of DS, don't you?

Thanks Werner, but now I tried to use a file DSN (this a requirement from my client) with no success, because when configuring the datastore, this only shows the system DSN, is there a way to setup a file DSN as a datastore?

Thanks in advance! Pablo.

It is kind of hard to setup a user-specific DSN and expect it to be used by another user. So either system DSN or the DataServices service runs under the same user account (start->control panel ->administrative tools -> services -> business objects data services -> logon).
