Workitem not received at the receiver when forwarded after the dead line

Workitem not received at the receiver when it is forwarded after the dead line is reached.

It showed as sent to the receiver in the workflow log and outbox but it doesnt appear in the (SBWP) inbox of the user.

Tried forwarding to other users too,But it never appeared in any users inbox.

Please suggest.

Hello,

What is the deadline set to do when it's exceeded?

Is the user that it's being forwarded to a possible agent - or is the task a General Task?

Dead line set is 1 day.and a mail is sent to the approver after the dead line(latest end reached).

But this work item remains as ready in the same approver queue,but i manually forwarded it to the manager of the approver.

but it dint work.

It says all are possible agents int he log and i guess it is a general task.

But the person whom i am forwarding to is under Excluding agents,Would that be an issue?

Please suggest.

Hello,

If the person you're forwarding it to is not a possble agent then yes, I would expect problems.

I assume he was excuded for a reason!

Is it a modeled deadline? If not, it will send a mail and then just sit there.

Hi,

you cannot fwd the request to the user who is maintained under Excluded agents.

try forwarding this to some other person and again fwd this to the intended person(excluded agent), Then it shud work.

Hi Kittu,

Check the workitem for the agent assignment.

Check if Forwarding is allowed for the workitem.

The workitem should either be a General task or General Forwarding Allowed.

Hi,

Please check the Agent assignment for that particular activity, and it shud be marked as General task.

There you have the options to set it as Forwarding not allowed.

Then definitely forwarding is allowed, make sure you have the authorization for forwarding the workitem in SWIA,

Yes,I think the problem is that the agent is the excluded list of agents and that is why it is not allowing the forward.
