Hello,

I am cheking report Total record display EC-PCA tran 2KEE

I would kindly ask you to answer two questions reg this report.

1. What kind of information it shows?

2. Reports shows totally empty balances for all PC and companies (dev). Where can I post the values so that report shows something different from 0.

Hi,

2KEE is a report for showing totals in profit centre accounting. If you have only one profit centre, then the balance on it would be zero, as every transaction (debit/credit) will be posted only to it.

I knew it before but dont understand the logic

Is it revenues posted to profit center? If yes , why there are some 0 balances (+20 and -20)?

Hi,

Yes the revenue postings will happen to the profit center.

The reason for having values zero may be because of both debit values and credit values are equal and got posted to same Profit center for the document.

How its possible to make postings with negative value (credit)

qDoes it mean that profit is moved from one profit center to other? I dont understand the reason for negative postings

Every document in accounting has debit and credit part. That is when you pass financial transaction you debit one side, but you parallely credit another side. Thta's the basics of the accounting...
