BI report in Portal

Hi Experts,

I have a doubt regarding BI report iViews in Portal.

I have created a iView (BEx Web Application iView (SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Format)) for a BI report in Portal. The iView is working fine and it is showing the data. The problem is that it is showing only 4 columns at a time instead of the all the columns of data.

Can any one tell me, if there is any way to define the number of columns to be displayed in a BEx iView from the portal side?

Thank You.

    Hi Murthy,

Once the report is being displayed in portal, we have accomplished the task from portal side. Later, if any problems it can be because of various other issues which are virtually related to portal.

The problem described here may be because of the result set condition raised by BI query during execution.

At the Query designer , after we get the URL, we can apply certain conditions to restrict the result set to customer needs. so just run the query before applying any condition n check in WAD or query designer.

Later, once published in net, we will get a separate URL. Use this URL at our Parameters and check tht it refers to the correct System Name at our Iview properties, i.e. the alias name of BI system.

Also check the below link for further reference.

    Hope this helps you.
