LVC_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE

Hello,

I cane across a wierd situation, I use function LVC_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE through SE37.

In DEV SYS i get in parameter CT_FIELDCAT 121 RECORDS in QAS I get 119 records.

The structure which I pass is identical in both systems.

I_BUFFER_ACTIVE X

I_STRUCTURE_NAME PLMT_AUDIT_ALV

I_CLIENT_NEVER_DISPLAY X

I_BYPASSING_BUFFER

I_INTERNAL_TABNAME

Please advise.

Regards

    Hi,

Just check the version management of the structure in development and quality whether it is same.

    Hi,

We added structure of owr own , so now it has 121 fields.

I can see 119 fields in the fieldcatalog and the last 2 fields are missing.

      Hi,
Try to find out missing fields.
Just add manually to the fieldcatalog table generated using LVC_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE.
Try like below.

      DATA:
          it_fieldcat TYPE lvc_t_fcat,
          wa_fieldcat TYPE lvc_s_fcat.
      DEFINE fieldcat.
        wa_fieldcat-fieldname = &1.
        wa_fieldcat-tabname = &2.
        wa_fieldcat-coltext = &3.
        append wa_fieldcat to it_fieldcat.
        clear wa_fieldcat.
      END-OF-DEFINITION.

      fieldcat:'BUKRS' 'IT_T001' 'BUKRS',
              'BUTXT' 'IT_T001' 'BUTXT'.
      Thanks Venkat.O
