Settlement Error CJ88

Hi,

While Settling the WBS Elelement in CJ88, i am getting below error.

No source assignment found for cost element 578900

Message no. KD560

Diagnosis

The sender bears the IM source structure and was debited with costs from the 578900 cost element. This cost element is not assigned to any source assignment in the VSNL controlling area of the VSNL source source structure.

Procedure

Maintain the IM source structure.

Please give me any solution.

Hi,

Step1: Note Down the Allocation Structure in the Settlement Profile (SPRO>PS>Costs>Automatic and Periodic Allocation>Settlement>Settlement Profile>Create Settlement Profile) (this Settlement Profile Can be found in Project Profile Tcode OPSA)

Step2: Go to SPRO>PS>Costs>Automatic and Periodic Allocation>Settlement>Settlement Profile>Create Allocation Structure. Select the Allocation Structure from Step1.

Step3: Click on Assignments (Please check the Cost element category for 578900) And Select the appropriate Assignment and then the Source.

Step4: If the Cost element group is maintained here then note down the Cost element group and go to Step 5, else Specify the 578900 in the Cost element Range

Step5: To add this 578900 in Cost element group noted down in step 4, Go to Tcode KAH2 and Add this cost element.

Save and rerun CJ88.
