Consolidation report

Hi Experts,

1. Can we create consolidation report through report painter/abap programme, without implementing consolidation. In my case say for example we have A is the company, under this 3 company codes and client wants consolidation report (company code level) at company level (A). Is it possible to create consolidation report through report painter/abap programme.

2. When the company Investing the amount/shares in the subsidairys(Company Codes), what should be the entry in company books and what should be the entry in company code books. how can we pass the entry in company books and company code books it means that individual entry in comapany and company codes or cross company posting.

Please give your valuable suggesstions .
