Crystal Reports and Viewer

Hi,

What is the difference between Crystal Designer and Viewer ?

Does viewer have a think and Thick client ?

If thick client does it need an integration kit installe don desktop ?

Hi,

the designer allows you to create reports, the viewer allows you to view reports and yes there is also a thick client version of the viewer.

Thanks Ingo, My last question. Does it need a Integration kit to be installed on local machine if we use Think client or does it go to BO server like WebI rich ?

How is the crystal architecture, can you please send soem detail link about crystal and WebI architecture with SAP

the thick client is an offline viewer which can not refresh reports. If you want to distribute reports with refreshing then you should look at BusinessObjects Enterprise and you can decide between different viewers (Java, Active X or DHTML)
