Stop Triggering Mail When Purchase Order Release Strategy Release is cancelled.

Hi All,

We have configuration that Whenever someone tries to release or cancel release of Purchase Order in ME29N mail gets triggered to concerned person defined according to release code. Now I have requirement to unrelease and delete the line items and then release them. I did this with BAPI. But issue is the mail is triggering for all order. Suppose I have to do this activity for 15000 PO. Then 15000 mails will be triggered. How to stop triggering mail. We haven't made any workflow in SWDD for that. We defined it SPRO and configured the mail SMTP. So how to stop sending mail when that report is run..
