SAP BW Hierarchy display options in Analysis of Office

Dear All,

I am currently facing an issue with the sorting options of BW hierarchy used in a query (in SAP Hana Studio), which is later used in a workbook in Analysis of Office.

I have created my own hierarchy on an InfoObject for ACCOUNT. My aim is to use it as P&L statement of accounts.

The issue is, that if I use the hierarchy nodes above my accounts, I am not able to show the lowest level (e.g. EBIT) at the bottom of my account hierarchy as it should be.
In Analysis of Office I have used almost all options of display/sorting the hierarchy, but with no success.

Any helpful hint is more than welcomed!
Thank you all in advance!

Hi Václav Schreyer,

Could you make sure whether the user has enough authorization to display the lowest level of the hierarchy?

Whether this issue could be reproduced in T-Code RSRT?

Best regards,
Tibbie

Hello Tibbie,

this is not the issue, I am able to see all the leaves of the hierarchy. The issue is, that when creating the hierarchy, my 1st level is e.g. Net Earnings (top node), then I have as 2nd level e.g. EBIT, I am not able in Analysis for Office to display the hierarchy, that on my 1st line are leaves from the node EBIT (2nd level) and then below the 1st level node.

Hierarchy is created in RSH1, then I do the query in Eclipse - Hana Studio, but even with using the option to display hierarchy child nodes "above", no change has happened.

Many thanks!

Vaclav
