Authorization issues with BAdI RSR_OLAP_BADI

Hello experts,

Can you please assist me: which authorization are required in order to execute this BAdI?

I have a Virtual Characteristic that I implemented via BaDI RSR_OLAP_BADI.

The execution on the DEV system works fine.

But on INT the BAdI doesn't get executed at all.

• The BAdI however has status "Implementation will be called"
• Neither method (DEFINE, INITIALIZE, COMPUTE) gets executed
• The query executes without errors/warnings (in RSRT and AfO) but my virtual characteristic remains empty

The only thing that I recognize is an authorization error on BIAUTH -> 0BI_ALL in SU53:

But I couldn't find the actual error via ST01 or RSECPROT. Giving Authorization on 0BI_ALL is not an option.

I wasn't really able to solve my problem but - with the help of a collegue - I was able to find a fitting workaround.

Beside the BAdI RSR_OLAP_BADI there also exists the BAdI RSROA_OLAP_BADI.

I created an implementation for this BAdI via SE24 and this one works fine. It actually does the same job and I was even able to copy&paste my code from the old BAdI; as far as I understand the RSROA_OLAP_BADI is a newer one...
