host cannot be reached-SAP-LPD is not running there

Hi All,

We have configured lexmark printer from SPAD.When the user is trying to print they are getting the following error.Please let me know how to resolve this printer issue.

SAP spool error log:

Host ipaddress cannot be reached or (SAP-)LPD is not running there

host spool is reporting errors

unable to connect to output processor

Let me know if it is port problem or SAP configuration problem and also how i need to open up this port.I want some solution from basis perspective.

SAPLPD is not supported any more Please refer Note 16420

That's pretty clear... Simply the IP or host where your printer is setup is unreachable, printer is not setup correctly at OS / Print Server level or also you could have used the wrong method.
