FTP_CONNECT function does not work

Hi,

i would like to check if user id and password for FTP server had to be in upper case.

This is because when i debugged, the user id and password are correct but the function just throws an error of not connected.

I tried to debug but it skipped the RFC destination part and I am unsure what is wrong.

I had check the userid, password and host destination ip address are all correct.

The only thing is that user id n password is in lower case.

Does this have an impact?

    Sally,

In case if you are maintianing a ztable to store the user id,password and ip address then check the domain of the fields of user id and password, if LOWER CASE is ticked then it will accept only Lower Cases else not.

Did not really try with a lower case password but try to ask the adminstratior to create upper case user id and password.

Manage to connect but indicate no write access which is given.

As this request is withdrawn, thus no update had been done.
