      The mandatory selection of tick mark you cant maintain. In functionality any manufacturing, process indutries Operation dept will book the breakdown by just getting machine stop.

      But infact while processing the job and final stage , the maintenance team will discuss and finalise about the breakdown. We can say is real one or not because of maintenance.

      Now in present settings once you are actiavted the tick mark, you cant remove the same. In that condition what you will do

    Dear

    U could use the field selection method.

    Tcode- OIAL >select influencing >select Notification Type-->select M2

    now make the Break Down field as requierd field.so at the time of M2 type noti. creation user has to tick the break down indicator other wise system will not allow to save.

    regards
