Hello forum
My alerting does not work. I configured the ALRTCATDEF and activated the rule in the RWB: Alert configuration. So it should work?! I tried it with a message which should be posted to a SOAP destination and changed the login data, so that an error occured (401 not authorized).
There is no message in the alerting inbox nor in sost. What else can I do? Where can I look?
Regards
Christian
Did you configured Fixed receipeints for your alert category?

I think I found the problem (sitting in front of the monitor).... I checked "Rule active" in RWB, but did not click "Change rule". It may work now, but I am still testing...

Hi Chris,
Steps needed while creating Alerts
- Go to trasaction ALRTCATDEF
- Create Alert category
- Make sure you have assigned container variable for long text (This message is displayed inAlert Inbox)
In RWB
- Select your Alert category and create Alert rule and specify interface and error location
After configuring Alert rule should be visible in the list.
Hope you gone through this document
