HANA XS JDBC [Connection refused], -813.

Hi all,

I have set up a SAP HANA XS as virtual Machine and followed the Post Install Guides here: http://go.sap.com/developer/tutorials/hxe-ua-installing-vm-image.html

My VM is running on my Laptop NATed (not the same Network)

Everything works as expected, i can log into the Server, see all running processes and have connected my Server to my Hana Studio (described here: http://go.sap.com/developer/how-tos/hxe-howto-eclipse.html)

I can see all Systems running so i try to use the SAP Hana instance for the local Tomcat but always get a [Connection refused], -813.

I followed the Instructions in http://go.sap.com/developer/how-tos/hxe-connect-hxe-using-jdbc.html but even this simple Java Class Example gets the [Connection refused], -813. Error

Is there any limitation regarding the JDBC access? I do not see any restrictions in the Tutorials. Any help is welcome

Hi I got the same problem, using Eclipse fine however when using a vanilla JDBC I get as well the error -813. Did you got it to work ?
