PO creation in me23

hi i have a report whihc creats a PO in SAP whihc contains 4 structure in the header details i have added a field called

created_by which component is ERNAM the field is passed correctly to the bapi whihc is creating po n po is getting correctly

but i am not able to spot the field created_by in the header can you plz let me know

If people can create PO's in other user's ID's, then don't you think that it should also be possible to sign cheques for them, and know their bank card PIN, etc?

What you might want to consider doing is to send the PO's into a workflow and the approval step takes sy-uname from the approver?

Which BAPI is this you are using which exposes this field, yet appears to be resetting it if you send it nonsensical values?

You can create Po using ME21, ME23 is only for display.

You can see created by field value in EKKO table.
