My client is facing a strange problem since today morning. Whatever master data they are updating, the system says" Operation Completed Successfully' but when they again go back to the master data they updated, the changes they made are not getting reflected. I was working properly till yesterday and from morning, this strange behaviour is happening. My client is on SAP B1 200B PL47.
Any one knows why this happens?

Actually, the user was trying to change the details pertaining to Business Partner and Items. Two changes he was trying to make are:
a) Addition of a new address to a BP and
b) Selection of preferred vendor in the Item Master Data.
When the user added new address and a new preferred vendor, the system didnt gave any error. infact, it gives a message "Operation Completed Successfully". However, the change log says no record upated.
I tried through super-user also but the result is the same.
Hi,
We had one case in the past where a user was updating data in a demo DB and then could not find it in the productive DB.
Please check this even though it might sound silly.
Please remove all stored procedures & triggers and test again. If still to avail, please take a copy to a test environment and test, if all else fails please open a message to SAP Business One Support.

Paul Finneran
